KARACHI: After Indus Motors, Honda has also decided to increase the prices of its cars. According to dealers, Honda Motors Company has increased the prices of its all car models by Rs28,000 to Rs39,000. As per details, prices with an increase of Rs30,000 went up to Rs1,239,000 for Honda City, Rs1,359,000 for City Auto and Rs1,629,000 for Honda Civic. Dealers told that price of Civic Auto has reached Rs1,776,000 with an increase of Rs33,000 and price of Civic Auto Sunroof with an increase of Rs39,000 has gone to Rs1,849,000. Chairman of All Pakistan Motor Dealers Association H M Shahzad demanded from the government to take back the rebate in federal excise duty given to car manufacturers as they have increased again the car prices. He said that this rebate is causing loss to government exchequer on one hand while on other side price hike of cars is disappointing for buyers.
